Besides, teaching kids about finance would supplement the other subjects as well. Topics like the Great Depression, World War II, and the oil embargo would fit nicely within a history, current events, and economics discussion. And what is finance/economics if not math? It would be much easier to illustrate a mathematical point with a real-world example.
