And on the seventh day, The Lord surfed the web for personal finance advice. “Go forth my children, and learn the ways of profitable investing for yea, nothing pleases Me more than to see my children prosper in the ways of finance”.

Mrs Micah takes on those rich snobby bastards on TV who make fun of middle class people by asking What’s Wrong With Being Middle Class? For the Lord sayeth, “yea, for it is easier for a rich man to go through the eye of a needle than get to heaven.”
David at My Two Dollars shares how his family managed to survive after leaving his corporate job. Stories like this are always very interesting to me because I dream to quite my corporate job by the time I’m 30 and live off self-employment income and some other investments. For the Lord sayeth, “yea, corporations suck and their evilness will devour thy soul.”
Along those same lines, David also shares his sources of alternative income. While I prefer other sources of alternative income, such as whoring for fun and profit, he gives some good suggestions as well. Web design or blogging consultant would be an obvious part-time job opportunity for anybody involved in the blogosphere.
Credit Withdrawal asks if it’s time to buy a McMansion amid the subprime debacle. I think those things are hideously ugly so I would never buy one regardless of the price, but it’s a good read nonetheless. For the Lord sayeth, “yea, blessed be the landlords for thy patience art great.”
Peace be with you.

Thanks for the link. I’m tempted to trade up house-wise, but you’re right, a lot of those houses are just too much.

do you know the name of the wp plugins that show adsense ads only to search engine traffic?

It’s called Who Sees Ads

It works pretty well and seems to place nice with wp-cache. I only have it set up with one of my in-post large rectangle ads that might be annoying to regular readers. You can actually use it to display any code you want, not just ads so it has lots of potential for other interesting uses.
