Friday Link Love And Carnival Roundup
First off, let me apologize for the irregular posting schedule this week. A deluge at work and some personal reasons have really cut into my blogging time, but I will be back on the regular schedule next week. I’m working on writing some reserve posts I can publish just in case something happens and I’m unable to write for a few days. Now on to the links.
The Finance Blog Network
If case you missed it, two other bloggers and I launched a new blog network, The Finance Blog Network, this week. It was a fairly successful launch, I think. Here are my favorite posts from the network this week.
Curt from Penny Jobs ponders whether it’s better to do what you love or love what you do. I’m a realist, so while I think in an ideal world you should do what you love, it’s not always a practical way to make a living. Too bad.
And from Saving To Invest says it’s actually possible to be too poor to declare bankruptcy. I guess the alternative for these people is simply to walk away from your debt.
Carnival Of Personal Finance
This week’s Carnival of Personal Finance #165 was hosted by Kevin over at No Debt Plan. This week’s theme was College Football. Personally, I’m not a Tennessee fan but I won’t hold that against him. Special thanks for including my post on knowing your 401k plan fees. A few of my favorite posts…
- Really Better Real Estate – 3 Bogus Real Estate Statistics
- Financial Ramblings – 150 Personal Finance Blogs (somebody discovered flattery is a good way to get links)
- Searchlight Crusade – How Do I Know If I’ve Been Lowballed on a Mortgage Quote?
