PSA: Today Is The Last Chance To Claim Over 279,000 Stimulus Rebate Checks
Never received your stimulus rebate check but thought you should have? Today (11/28/2008) is the last day to claim stimulus rebate checks. According to CNN Money, over 279,000 stimulus rebate checks valued at over $163 million, or about $583 each, are still unclaimed. The most likely reason most of these checks are still unclaimed is a simple address error.

Luckily, if you do manage to miss today’s deadline, all is not lost: you’ll receive it as a credit on your 2008 tax return. Even so, you should at least update your address information with the IRS to prevent this sort of thing from happening in the future.
