Weekend Link Love

This week’s carnival of personal finance was hosted by Four Pillars and what a lovely festival it was, not least of all because my post Choosing The Best IRA For Your Needs was included!  But mine wasn’t the only great post this week.  Here are some of the others.

The Wild Investor writes about the prospects of Microsoft (MSFT) stock.  Sure, Microsoft’s margins are still astronomical and they still monopolize the operating system and office productivity markets, but they’ve failed in pretty much every other market they’ve tried to get into.  Where else can they possibly grow?

Squawkfox (one of my favorite blogs btw and congrats on the new book!), teaches you the 6 words that will make your resume rock.

Weakanomics, much like me, thinks the AIG bonus controversy is a red herring.  How would you like it if your Christmas bonus were cancelled merely because some of the higher-ups at your company did something stupid?  You wouldn’t.

The Intelligent Speculator thinks Google should get into the social media business.  Personally, I don’t think Google needs to own a social media site to benefit from the social media phenomenon, but only time will tell.

David from MoneyNing has a DIY haircut.  I’ve been cutting my own hair for several years now and nobody can tell.  I don’t keep track, but I’ve saved at least a few hundred dollars if not more.
