Thanks to Weakonomcics for including my post on outfitting a home gym in this week’s carnival of personal finance #203.   Here are some of my favorite posts from around the blogosphere this week.

Andy from Saving To Invest tells us how to succeed in business.  I think most of us harbor aspirations of owning our own business someday.  Reading this post is a good start.

Curt from Pennyjobs’s wages were frozen recently.  Wage freezes will probably become more prevalent in the next year as companies try to control costs without laying off too many workers.  I wouldn’t be surprised if my own wages are frozen next year.  To compensate, I will be working over-time on my side projects and probably taking on a roommate to help cut expenses.

Speaking of roommates, Passive Family Income gives a few tips on renting a room.  Screening potential tenants is of the utmost importance if you’re going to be stuck living with them!

Weakonomics brings us 6 Things Star Wars Can Teach use About Money.  Apparently, May 4th was Star Wars day.  Sweet!

Mrs Micah hasn’t had much luck with some of those As Seen On TV products.

Patrick at Cash Money Life relates that sometimes the best business opportunity can be the one you don’t take.

Frugal Dad brings us 14 ways to raise cash.

Thats for the plug. Frozen wages are not fun and a lot of people are upset. But, its better than loosing a job and having to find another job in this market with 8.9% unemployment.
