My boss knows that he can come to me to get any deadline-driven project due at noon the same day out the door without a problem. On the other hand, don't be someone who no one relies on to get things done...you lose trust quickly and by failing to get important projects assigned to you, you'll fall into a self-perpetuating cycle of badness. :) Great set of tips.
