		<description>The trouble in my humble opinion with target based goals is meeting them is out of your hands.

Internet websites are notoriously hit and miss, so why I&#039;ve no doubt you&#039;ve got the smarts to do the early retirement blog, who knows when or if it will &#039;catch&#039;.

Personally, I prefer goals like &#039;post on the blog every week&#039; and &#039;explore a new monetization option every month&#039;, and to let things take their course. 

Perhaps I&#039;m partly saying this because I set ambitious (and pretty unfounded) target goals for Monevator a couple of years ago, which with the benefit of a couple of years experience I wonder what I was smoking. :)

Appreciate you&#039;ve got more experience with this than I did then though.</description>
