It was a disappointing week.  Both my Jackets and Texas lost their respective bowl games :(   Nonetheless, I managed to drown my sorrows with these excellent articles!

Do You Need A Tax Accountant by GenX Finance – I’ve always been the do-it-yourself type, but my business is becoming complicated enough that I will probably need to hire an accountant soon.  Probably not this year, but I plan to incorporate my businesses at some point during the year, so I’ll definitely need one next year to help me sort things out.

Best Retirement Plans For Small Businesses by Good Financial Cents – After incorporating, I might look into setting up some sort of retirement plan for my new business.  Perhaps a Solo 401k or SEP-IRA. But that’s at least a year or two down the road, at best.

Add Something Positive To Your Credit Report by The Wisdom Journal – Keeping negative marks off your credit report is only half the battle.  You should also work on adding positive marks!  Make sure potential lenders get the full story.

10 Frugal Ways To Get Fit This Winter by Squawkfox – Most of these won’t work down in the South where I live, since we never get snow.  And when we get 1/4 of an inch, the entire city shuts down (good excuse not to go to work).  But those of you in colder climates should find plenty to do here.

How To Make Money With A Blog by Bible Money Matters – This 4-part series is required reading for anybody thinking of setting up a money-making website (especially a blog).

Why I Don’t Want To Retire Early by Mrs Micah – The opposite of my post Why I Want To Retire Early (and its companion, Life Is Too Short To Work All The Time).  Where do you stand?

101 Ways To Cut Your Spending This Year by Being Frugal – Huge list.  Worth a read.

Investing For Retirement by me at Early Retirement Blog – Investment goals for early retirees are a bit different than everybody else.
